Since then I have filmed a second every day to create this video. When I started making this video I had already planned to use One Day (Wankelmut Remix) as background music. Then it happened that Wankelmut was playing in Perth! (where I am now). In order not to miss an opportunity, I sent him a message and he told me to come down and shoot the final scene. What a boy! Unfortunately my camera was stolen after 8 months so I lost a lot of footage. I tried to put together what I needed to create this video, but there were a lot of other great clips that aren’t even here! Travel has changed my life and I have no plans to stop anytime soon. That’s why this year, starting October 1st, I’ll be creating a daily video blog that will show you how to travel the world on a budget. No glitz. No glamor. Just a man and his backpack. → How to Become a Traver Vlogger (Full Training) – → Get $ 40 FREE Airbnb Credit – → FREE 30 Days of Epidemic Sound – – If you want to see more, sign up! After I sold all my stuff and paid my overdraft and credit cards, I had about £ 5000 ($ 9000 US). This is not a huge amount of money to travel on for a year, but if the budget is right, it is still more than enough. What was your budget? On average, I spent $ 20-25 a day. This has worked more in some places (eg Europe, Dubai) and less in others (eg India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Indonesia). I’ve stayed in hostels and dorms everywhere to keep costs down and ate mostly local or self-cooked street food. I didn’t take organized tours and prioritized the tourist attractions I wanted to pay for. I traveled slowly and learned to barter – everything is negotiable. Which countries have you visited? The countries I was in last year, in order, are: Spain, France, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. I’ve been traveling ever since. What did you put up with and what were the cameras? I used Premiere Pro CC to edit the video and it was all shot with a GoPro 3 Black and a Sony Handycam. How has this trip changed you? One of the ways this trip has changed my perspective is that I want to lead a life independent of the place, at least for the next few years. This means that I just want to keep traveling the world, working with my laptop and collecting extra money where I can. What I really want to do is show people firsthand how possible it is to travel the world on a tight budget. Before doing it, it seems like an impossible task and people often don’t believe it’s feasible on a budget of USD 20-25 per day. This is what I want to do with my life and use my channel for. I hope that with your support, I can make it a reality. Any more questions, please post them below and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible! #Travel #TravelVlog #TravelContinuously.
